State of origin compulsory

IMPORTANT: Upon receipt of your order, please check the condition of the packaging and contents and immediately notify the carrier as well as Tapis du Monde in the event that the merchandise is damaged. Visual proof may be requested.

Returned rugs must be in the same condition as when received in their original packaging and in mint condition. Any product damaged or received without its original packaging will be subject to being refused and not refunded. 

The refund will be credited to the card used in the original transaction once the package is received and inspected. Tapis du Monde reserves the right not to reimburse in full a product deemed damaged by the customer (the original condition of each carpet is checked and photographed before sending). The amount withheld will be assessed according to the cost of repairing and / or cleaning the product.

We only accept products that have not been used and are in their original condition. Return delivery is at the customer's expense. The original delivery is non-refundable. Carpets of the world is not responsible for damage occurring during transport and handling, except in the case of local delivery by the company.

When a return request is approved, an email will be sent to you containing a return label from a carrier. It is the customer's responsibility to affix this label to the package, and to ensure the smooth running of the pickup by the carrier.

Store returns are subject to a refund period of 2 to 3 working days


Cleared items are all considered final sale. Therefore, no return or refund will be accepted for the items in the clearance section. Please read product descriptions carefully before purchase, some items are at a discount due to minor repairs.

Products in inventory

A product in inventory is an item physically present in the store and ready for sale.

All products in inventory are exchangeable or refundable within seven (7) days of receipt thereof. 

Products to order

A product on order is an item purchased following the submission of an order form.

All made-to-order products are exchangeable or refundable within seven (7) days of receipt thereof. 

IMPORTANT: Products purchased to order and returned by customers are subject to restocking charges of up to 15% of the value of the product.
