DG-03 : Natural rug - Sisal

We offer wool serging or polyester edging, the color of the serging will match the color of the fiber.

Sisal is an extremely durable fiber obtained from the long green leaves of the Agave plant. On average, about 1000 fibers are extracted from each leaf, then washed, sun-dried, brushed, graded, and baled. The rest of the plant is used to produce electricity for rural areas, in addition to supporting the local economy. They are then sent to the United States to be processed into rugs.

The broom is sufficient for general maintenance of the sisal. When a strong wet stain occurs due to a spill, use a handheld hairdryer or a fan to make it disappear. We also offer the Sisal-Care stain remover for natural rugs.
