DG-723: Natural carpet - Sisal

We offer wool surging or polyester edging, the color of the surging will match the color of the fiber.

Sisal is an extremely strong fiber and is obtained from the long green leaves of the Agave plant. On average, around 1000 fibers are extracted from each leaf, which are then washed, sun-dried, brushed, graded and baled. The remainder of the plant is used to generate electricity for rural areas, in addition to helping the local economy. They are then sent to the United States to be transformed into carpets.

The sweeper is sufficient for the general maintenance of sisal. When a strong wet stain occurs due to a spill, use a handheld hairdryer or a fan to make it disappear. We also offer the Sisal-Care stain remover for natural rugs.
