DG-725: Natural carpet - Sisal

We offer either wool serging or polyester edging, the color of the serging will match the color of the fiber.

Sisal is an extremely strong fiber and is obtained from the long green leaves of the Agave plant. On average, around 1000 fibers are taken from each leaf, then washed, sun-dried, brushed, graded and baled. The rest of the plant is used to generate electricity for rural areas, in addition to helping the local economy. They are then sent to the United States to be made into rugs.

The sweeper is sufficient for general maintenance of the sisal. When a heavy wet stain occurs as a result of a spill, use a hand dryer or fan to blot it away. We also offer the Sisal-Care stain remover for natural rugs.
