Seagrass is a grass that is grown and harvested each year in rice paddies that are flooded with seawater as the crop develops. Slightly waxy by nature, it is naturally stain-resistant and easy to maintain. In its natural state, seagrass is a wild green hue that gradually turns to a soft tan after a few months.

Seagrass is woven from thousands of strands of hand-twisted grass yarn. There will always be flakes, wiry strands that will disappear over time, as well as knots throughout.

It is suitable for temperature-controlled indoor areas. Not suitable for areas exposed to damp conditions or high humidity. Sea grass will mold when exposed to these conditions. The sweeper is sufficient for general maintenance, as well as a damp mop. When a heavy wet stain occurs due to a spill or cleaning, use a handheld hairdryer or a fan to make it disappear.
